Job Title: FLT Driver - Manufacturing Facility
Location: Rotherham
Salary: 25,000
Shift Pattern: Days and Afters (Monday - Friday)
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Manage stock movements within the facility
- Efficiently load and unload vehicles
- Ensure driver paperwork matches dispatch pallets, with a final check of the load during vehicle loading
- Confirm the load is secured with straps to the required standard
- Deplete stock levels for production, ensuring decorated stock is scanned back into the system post-processing
- Maintain a clean production area, removing waste packaging
- Inspect incoming stock, receipt it using barcode scanning, and store safely
- Check pallets for cleanliness and damage; clean if necessary, or set aside for repairs
- Inspect shrink wrap integrity on pallets, ensuring any damaged wrap is replaced
- Perform trailer pre-checks to confirm cleanliness before loading
- Maintain housekeeping standards
- Achieve departmental targets as set
Person Specification:
- Experience with RF gun systems (desirable)
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment (preferably external)
- Valid forklift truck license (counterbalance or reach)
- Numerate and literate (GCSE or equivalent)
- Basic PC literacy (desirable)
- Promote and adhere to Health and Safety standards within the workplace
- Strong commitment to company values and operational standards
- Positive verbal and written communication skills
