7.5 Tonne Driver

Here at London Platform Roofing we are seeking a skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our roofing repairs teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, machinery and materials in a timely and safe manner to assist our roofing repair teams. Multiple work locations will be needed across london & sorrounding areas, office base as starting point each day in Enfield EN1 (Subsidised accomodation available)

The Role:

• Roofing support driver
• Unloading/loading materials & access machines
• Heavy lifting / manual handling
• Checking and completing paperwork
• Ensuring load is safe and secure
• Vehicle checks

Skills required

• Ability to deal face to face with clients & customers
• Able to work in a busy, fast paced time critical environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Upholding company reputation and being an ambassador of the company brand
• Good communication skills, ability to liaise with central office where required
• Be reliable and flexible with a can-do attitude

Experience:

• Driving: 1 year 7.5T or higher (required)
• IPAF loading/unloading (advantageous)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13 - 14 per hour dependant on experience

Expected hours: 07:00 - 18:00 Mon - Fri, Saturdays regularly available

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Enfield based yard, subsidised accomodation available for relocation

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
• Driver CPC (required)
• Tachograph card (required)
• IPAF loading/unloading (advantageous)
• CSCS(advantageous)
