Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication & Assembly: Perform precise fabrication and assembly of aluminium marine structures, ensuring adherence to design specifications and technical requirements.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics related to marine vessel construction and repair.
- Welding: Execute high-quality aluminium welding in various positions, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic standards are met.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of fabricated components to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality control standards.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to workplace safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Material Handling: Select and work with appropriate materials for fabrication tasks, considering durability and marine conditions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Aluminium Fabricator within the marine industry.
- Expertise in MIG and TIG welding of aluminium components.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of marine fabrication techniques and materials, including safety standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Physical fitness to work in a marine environment and handle demanding tasks.
- Marine experience is essential for this role.
