Salary range: upto 65,000 per annum

Benefits: 26 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme - 6-8% Matched and Flexible Start & Finish times.
Duration: Permanent
Location: Barrow-In-Furness
Hours of work: 37 Hours Per Week + Overtime (Double time for anything able two hours).

Applicants must have experience of the following:

  • Degree in electrical, control or instrumentation engineering
  • Experience supporting the build and commission of electrical and/or control systems
  • Demonstrable understanding of 3 phase/single phase machines, digital and analogue based control systems and mechanical interfaces
  • Technical report writing skills

Ideally applicants should also have:

  • Nuclear experience
  • Knowledge of the nuclear industry and relevant regulations


Role information:

  • Develop technical solutions to issues during construction and commissioning
  • Provide specialist advise in EC&I related matters
  • Produce declaration statements based off of engineering reviews and testing
  • Carry out nuclear safety assessments of design changes and deviations from the design intent
  • Ensure design intent is maintained during build phase
  • Provide engineering solutions to enable the efficient delivery of tasks and projects

UK National Security Vetting Status - Applicants must be able to obtain UKSV SC Clearance.
