Role: Routing Consultant (Specialist Haulage)

Location: Hybrid (WFH + frequent UK travel)

Salary: 50 - 55K + Employee Benefits

The Role:

  • Investigate and produce route feasibility studies, to project deadlines for submission, including:

* on-site investigations to capture transport limitations, restrictions and risks

* produce transport documentation/drawings.

* Carry out SweptPath Analysis (CAD)

* Ensure all HSQE documentation is completed.

  • Investigate and report on associated costs and profit margins
  • Champion Health, Safety and Environment in all activities, complying with Health & Safety policies, procedures and regulations.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • 5+ years' experience within the heavy lift, haulage, transport industry
  • 2+ years in route planning, including feasibility studies, investigation and documentation, ideally using any relevant software.
  • Full UK driving license (B1)
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and AutoCAD, (or equivalent)
  • Strong awareness of HSQE regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Engineering qualification, (or equivalent knowledge)
  • Flexibility to accommodate regular UK travel to site with occasional nights away as required.
