Sewell Wallis are working with a Rotherham based Accountancy Practice who are looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant to join their supportive team.

The successful candidate will work with a highly varied client base, with the opportunity to develop great exposure across all areas of accounting, coupled with working within a highly supportive environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Preparation of Statutory accounts to Manager/Partner review.
  • Client Bookkeeping.
  • Preparation of Personal Tax returns.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Preparation of Corporate Tax Returns.
  • Develop experience in the use of cloud accounting products.

What skills are we looking for?

  • AAT level 3/4 or PQ ACCA
  • At least 3 years experience of working within an Accountancy Practice and managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Positive and proactive attitude to work.
