Principal Ecologist (Planning)
East Midlands
4-months
£75 to £82 per hour
I am working closely with my LPA client based in the Midlands as they seek an interim Principal Ecologist Consultant on an initial 4-month contract.
This role will be to support the busy Planning team and involves reviewing the ecological elements of planning applications to, subsequently, provide specialist ecological advice for planning officers on protected species, HRA and also BNG.
The work will range from small proposals to the larger major allocations.
The role involves mainly remote working with some requirement for site visits on occasion. The LPA are flexible on how often you are needed in the area and can ensure the role suits those who live further away with the right experience.
Interviews are due to take place imminently, if this post is of interest, please do get in touch at your earliest convenience to discuss. Further details are available upon request.
It would aid your application is you are a qualified Town Planner and you must have previous Town Planning experience to be considered.
Please call Liam Shea on (phone number removed) for a confidential discussion on this role, or email myself or our planning team if you are short of time to chat:
