We are seeking an exceptional strategic leader to ensure outstanding outcomes for all students.
New Collaborative Learning Trust (NCLT) was created in 2015 by governors and senior leaders of New College Pontefract, an outstanding sixth-form college. Since then, the Trust has grown to include three sixth form colleges, three secondary schools and three primary schools.

The Deputy Headteacher will be responsible for the quality of education, you will lead excellence in teaching, learning and curriculum design. Working with the Trust leadership teams, you will champion high expectations and continuous improvement across all aspects of education.
You will provide strategic leadership in curriculum development, assessment and professional learning, ensuring that teaching and learning practices are inclusive. You will work closely with senior leaders to monitor progress, identify achievement gaps and implement targeted interventions that support every student to achieve success.
You will oversee the implementation of rigorous quality assurance processes, ensuring that assessment, tracking and reporting systems effectively support student progress and attainment. You will lead the academy’s professional development strategy, developing a positive culture through coaching and training.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of improving student outcomes and knowledge of teaching and learning strategies to provide opportunities for all learners to achieve their potential.
