Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA) Level 2

Are you passionate about education and supporting young learners in secondary school? We are a leading education recruitment agency seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (Level 2) to join our growing team for placements within secondary schools across the S26 area.

Role Overview:

As a TA Level 2, you will play a crucial role in assisting teachers in delivering high-quality education. You will work closely with students, helping to create a positive and productive learning environment, providing one-to-one or small group support, and ensuring students with varying needs reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers in managing classroom activities and student behavior
Assist in the preparation and organization of learning materials
Work with small groups or individual students to support learning, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and other subjects
Help students with additional learning needs, including SEN students, to engage with the curriculum
Monitor and report on student progress, behavior, and development
Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

Requirements:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience working with children in a secondary school setting (preferred)
A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping students succeed
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents
A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one
