Our consultancy client are looking for a number of Data Modellers to work on a major programme with a tier 1 banking client of theirs. You will have strong data modelling experience within the financial services industry working on large scale data migration programmes with a good understanding of financial reference data and experience with FS industry standard models (e.g. fpML, FIX, FIBO) is highly preferred. With strongData modelling skills and a solid understanding of the difference between conceptual, logical and physical models.A good understanding of UML and/or logical data models and experience of modelling semi-structured schemas such as JSON and/or XML. You will need experience with data modelling tools e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect, Erwin modelling software, Power designer, Visual Paradigm or similar and experience with curating ontologies and experience with RDF/OWL/TTL is highly preferred.SQL and Python experience is desirable but not essential. These roles will be mainly remote with occasional travel to the end clients offices in either Sheffield or Birmingham and will be inside IR35.
