Security Gates and Barriers Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Gate Engineer to join our team. The Security Gate Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various security gates and barriers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of perimeter security systems and passive barriers, with proven expertise in working with arm barriers, height barriers, road blockers, and bollards.
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair security gates, barriers, and bollards at various locations.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of security gate systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to provide efficient and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations while performing installations and repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of security gates, barriers, and other related systems.
- Strong knowledge of perimeter security and passive barriers.
- Proficiency in working with arm barriers, height barriers, road blockers, and bollards.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks and conduct routine inspections.
- Understanding of PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) procedures and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Day-to-day
- Inspecting and maintaining security gate systems at various locations.
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to schedule and perform PPM tasks.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to security gates and barriers.
- Communicating with peers and stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations during installations and repairs.
