Job Title: IT Officer (Temporary Contract)

Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and experienced IT Officer to join our clients team on a temporary basis for 3-6 months. You will play a key role in providing IT support and training across the organisation, with a focus on maintaining and enhancing the Housing Management System (MIS ActiveH).
Key Responsibilities

System Support and Training
- Provide support for the Housing Management System (MIS ActiveH).
- Deliver training on key systems to staff across the organisation.

IT Support
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across multiple platforms, including operating systems (VMWare, Windows, iOS), Windows Server-based systems, and hardware.
- Support remote working systems to ensure effective service delivery.

End User Support
- Work closely with the Head of IT & Projects to efficiently prioritise and resolve incidents.
- Maintain a high standard of end-user support by being responsive and visible.

Operational Analysis and Knowledge Sharing
- Analyse operational needs and identify gaps in stakeholder and team training.
- Contribute to the IT Service Desk knowledge base to ensure solutions are documented and reusable.

System Administration and Security
- Manage permissions and resource access using Active Directory.
- Collaborate with the Managed Service Provider for efficient permission management.
- Monitor and improve the Mobile Device Management platform.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience in supporting Social Housing Management Systems (MIS ActiveH).
- Proficiency in supporting Microsoft desktop technologies.
- Familiarity with end-user computing devices and peripherals.
- Knowledge of Data Protection legislation and best practices.
