The Vacancy

Purpose of Role:

To support the Stock Integrity Manager to achieve daily, weekly, monthly targets/ actions relating to Stock Integrity & Perpetual Inventory Checks.

Accountabilities:

  • Support Stock Integrity Manager to lead, develop, and motivate a team of BI operatives, making sure performance and conduct standards are communicated and monitored.
  • Hold initial performance reviews or conduct conversations in a timely manner.
  • Support return-to-work interviews and absence management processes when required.
  • Deliver on-the-job training and development for BI Operatives (e.g. induction).
  • Work closely with the internal training department to improve own and others’ performance or skill set.
  • Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety requirements are met:
    • Comply with H&S policy & standards.
    • Identify and report hazards, incidents, and accidents.
    • Keep work area clean and tidy. Use 5S’s.
    • Use equipment in a safe manner.
  • Achieve and exceed KPI target expectations.
  • Ensure the agreed PI check processes are carried out (Manual or Scheduled).
  • Manage and monitor accuracy of checks reporting discrepancies outside of agreed limits to the Stock Integrity Manager and/or relevant Stakeholders.
  • Communicate root cause of discrepancies and make sure they are acted upon.
  • Be continually aware of the position on PI progress for the purpose of SOX compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workplace practices.
  • Support the Stock Integrity Manager in revisiting areas below agreed accuracy levels within agreed time frames.
  • Make sure stock systems are maintained and updated.
  • Support Stock Integrity Manager with communication to other Department Managers.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Ensure hygiene standards are maintained in the work environment.
  • Encourage interdepartmental teamwork within the workplace, to make sure accuracy targets are met.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained and improved upon by providing feedback to relevant managers.
  • Accurately complete Management Information paperwork/performance reports to agreed timelines.
  • Contribute constructively and positively to meetings.
  • Show integrity when dealing with all members of staff/ colleagues.
