We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work for our Rotherham based client.

Summary of the Maintenance Engineer position:

  • The Pay: competitive negotiable depending on experience.
  • The Location:Rotherham.
  • The Hours: Varies but mainly Monday to Friday days 06:00-15:00 and afters 10:00-18:00. Including night call outs (this is on a rota) and occasional Saturdays if needed.
  • The Job:To carry out maintenance checks, finding and fixing faults, replacing worn parts, preventive servicing, modifying and improving equipment.
  • The Person:Multi-disciplined, familiar with an industrial production environment, flexible and dedicated. Highly motivated, looking for a challenge, and can work on their own or in a team and wanting to be an important part of a successful well managed organisation.

Daily dutiesof a Maintenance Engineer include:

  • Cleaning and inspection of machinery and equipment
  • Planned preventive maintenance checks and resulting actions
  • Routine servicing and lubrication
  • Replace worn parts
  • Welding and fabrication
  • Monitor repairs and servicing for resilience
  • Find and fix faults
  • Repairs and renewals to machinery and equipment
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns
  • Record keeping
  • Identify potential improvements for reliability
