Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Rotherham

Hourly Paid – £22/hr - £24/hr

Panama Shift Pattern – 12 Hour shifts, 42hrs/wk avg.

Overview:

A market leading manufacturer, looking for highly skilled maintenance engineers to support our operation. Our client is a highly automated site with a high daily output, looking for engineers that can keep up with the pace while at the same time finding improvements to increase productivity and reduce lost time.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns.
  • Identify and resolve long-term engineering issues.
  • Driving the use of our CMMS System across the team. Ensuring all relevant information is captured.
  • Support the operation of all equipment onsite.
  • Working as part of the RCA team for all major breakdowns.
  • Implementation of corrective measures and improvement projects.
  • Working collaboratively with other Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer's to ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed in line with scheduling.

What we'll need from you:

  • Time served apprentice in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • NVQ level 3 in Mechanical OR Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Constant drive, enthusiasm, and self-motivation with ability to motivate others.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Accurate and timely reporting skills.
  • Working knowledge of good engineering practices.
  • Good understanding of H&S
  • PLC Fault finding experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience with resistance welding would be advantageous.
  • Experience with 6 Axis Robots would be advantageous.
