Our client, well known national manufacturing business, looking to appoint a multi-skilled maintenance engineer. You will be determined and resourceful enabling you to complete periods of lone working and project work. The appointed multi-skilled maintenance engineer will have manufacturing experience in a fast-paced deadline centred manufacturing facility.

Roles & Responsibilities – Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

To ensure all machines and facilities in the factory are working efficiently and safely.
To effectively maintain machines, site services and utilities in a timely manner.
To read and interpret schematics or engineering drawings.
Maintain a sound working knowledge of the mechanical and electrical functions of all machines and facilities by continually learning and implementing best practices.
To carry out detailed analysis of all faults to determine root causes, preventative and corrective actions and to methodically eliminate faults using modern problem solving techniques.
To constantly strive for, and implement, development and improvement work to give increased OEE.
To assist in developing a robust and effective preventative maintenance program.
To provide maintenance breakdown cover across all manufacturing shifts, when required.
To adhere to the principles of 5S to their own area of work, wherever that may be in the factory.
To work in a professional and respectful manner.
To adhere to and uphold Health and Safety.

Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:
 - HNC/HND or full apprenticeship required
 - Experience working in manufacturing
 - Experience with multi-bagging systems and check-weighers would be beneficial
 - TPM, PPM, reactive breakdowns, some project work/installations
 - Legitimately multi skilled with strong mechanical fault finding skills and 16th/17th edition training
