- The operation and monitoring of our plants, globally, on a 24-hour basis, with safety and efficiency in mind.
- Investigating any issues or disturbances that may arise in plant.
- Reporting on plant performance, monitoring KPIs and looking after alarm management.
- Ensuring customer demand is led appropriately to maximise cost efficiency.
- Recommending improvement strategies for any identified performance issues.
- A Higher National Certificate (HNC) or a higher qualification in electrical, instrumentation, chemical engineering, or a related process field, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
- Proficiency in analysing and resolving problems, conducting fault-finding, and investigating process issues through the interpretation of data trends.
- Being a proactive self-starter with a strong commitment to safety, you must be capable of making swift decisions to prioritize both business and safety considerations.
- Interest in acquiring new skills, fostering personal development, and embracing challenges.
- Previous hands-on experience in control room operations using Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) software such as SCADA/PCS7 Siemens.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate within a high-pressure team and fast-paced environment.
- While prior plant commissioning experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
