Location: Holland

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Marine Fitter to become an integral part of our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in fitting and assembling various mechanical components and systems on marine vessels. As a Marine Fitter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper functioning and efficiency of mechanical systems within marine environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform fitting and assembly of mechanical components such as engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary machinery on marine vessels.
  • Install, align, and adjust mechanical parts and systems to meet specified requirements.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and identify and address any issues promptly.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fitting and assembly of mechanical components.
  • Collaborate with marine engineers and other team members to coordinate the installation and integration of mechanical systems with the overall vessel structure.
  • Ensure the quality and precision of fitting and assembly work, adhering to industry standards and specifications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Marine Fitter, with a strong track record of successful mechanical fitting and assembly on marine vessels.
  • Must have a previous track record of working with yachts.
