Role Overview:
Nicholas Associates is recruiting an Angle Fabrication Operator for a leading manufacturing company. In this role, you will specialise in the operation of machinery and equipment used in the fabrication of metal products, with a specific focus on angle fabrication processes. This is a hands-on position requiring a keen eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to produce high-quality products that meet precise specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate angle fabrication machinery, including angle punches and section rollers, ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate angle products accurately.
- Set up and adjust machinery to achieve desired dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of angle fabrication equipment.
- Monitor fabrication processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Work with the fabrication team to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Keep accurate records of angle fabrication activities, including materials used and products produced.
- Report any issues or malfunctions with equipment to the maintenance team.
- Propose improvements to fabrication processes to enhance efficiency and safety.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in operating metal fabrication machinery, particularly angle punches and section rollers, is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabricate metal products with precision.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and engineering software packages (training will be provided).
