Mobile Phone Technician

Our client is a fast-growing electronics recycler, recycling hundreds of devices per week. Due to their recent growth and expansion into the second-hand mobile phones market, they are now recruiting for a Mobile Phone Technician to start immediately.

Job Description

Handling Mobile phone testing software and cutting-edge robot, which involves evaluating mobile devices for functionality, performance, usability, and security. You will be expected to liaise with other technicians, be computer literate, and be adaptable to change within the role.

The Role.

Testing each device for functionality and cosmetic grading
Use Testing software to ensure each device is tested in accordance with guidelines
Entering all job details via CRM to maintain repair database
Arrange parcel collections on multiply partner systems fitting the customers and business needs.
Assemble postal packs to be sent to customers
Receive postal packs and update tracking systems
Be expected to take the initiative and rise to different challenges each day
Work in a fast paced, target focused environment constantly striving to ensure we are providing excellent customer service
Perform other basic administrative functions
Updating client accounts

The Person

PC Literate
Be able to work on own initiative
Good timekeeping and attendance
Good verbal and written communication skills
Awareness of data protection, GDPR, and how it relates to customers’ data.

Computer Literacy

Residency in or have the ability to attend the workplace in Rotherham, S60 2DH
