As Injection Moulding Technician, your duties will include -
- Maintaining optimum production on all machines, by minimising downtime and scrap production
- Carrying out tool, material and colour changes
- Carrying out Tool/material trials as requested
- Ensuring accurate recording of data
- Ensuring production targets are met or improved where possible (cycle times)
- Responding to production/quality issues raised by Audits or team members
To be successful in the role of Technician, the ideal candidate will have -
- A solid background of working with plastic injection moulding machinery, capable of troubleshooting, process optimisation and basic maintenance.
- Previously held the same job title, or similar such as Toolsetter, Process Technician, or Process Engineer.
