Senior Authorised Person - 66kV required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in England.
Responsibilities
- Producing and reviewing switching schedules.
- Main point of contact for switching schedules and permits.
- Provide isolations and safety documentation for wind farm working under client's safety rules.
- Isolating and de-energising electrical equipment for maintenance or repairs, as well as authorising the re-energising of the system after work is completed.
- Ensuring the safety of personnel working with or around high-voltage equipment.
- Ensuring that all safety protocols, procedures, and standards are strictly adhered to during all electrical activities.
- Conducting safety briefings, risk assessments, and overseeing the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Continuous monitoring of the 66kV electrical system.
- Identify and respond to any abnormal conditions, faults, or emergencies promptly.
- Monitoring systems and responding to alarms or system abnormalities.
Requirements
- Senior Authorised Person at 33kV or above under Company Electrical Safety Rules.
- Experience switching on multi-feed networks, preferably with DNO/Transmission/WTG experience.
- Physically fit, role will require climbing skills.
- Must be flexible about working patterns.
- Planning & reporting skills.
- Good communication and people management skills.
