Sharp Consultancy are thrilled to be working with an outstanding Rotherham based business that are widely known across the engineering sector, up and down the UK.

Due to implementing a brand-new system, they are looking for a Payroll Clerk on a 9-month FTC to assist the payroll team and provide additional support. You will be working alongside a small and friendly team, reporting directly into the Payroll Supervisor.

This role involves a range of responsibilities whilst also assisting with any adhoc tasks as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing wages, including bonuses and deductions.
  • Generating payslips, P45s and P60s.
  • Administrating pension schemes.
  • Processing travel payments.
  • Dealing with any absence, maternity and paternity payments.
  • Investigating and assisting with the resolution of discrepancies.
  • Producing reports as and when required.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working within a similar role.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and have fantastic organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate with different individuals across departments.
