Hunter Gatherer AHP have locum opportunities for Pharmacists seeking hospital-based positions in Bath.
The team are seeking Pharmacists to join their dispensary team from September 2024. You do not need to have previous hospital experience.

Duties of a Dispensary Pharmacist
- To take professional responsibility for the clinical screening of prescriptions to ensure the accuracy, legality, safety, and effectiveness of prescribed medication in line with pharmacy SOP
- To identify potential risks to patients when screening prescriptions and resolve relevant issues prior to dispensing
- To liaise with doctors and nurses to resolve any queries arising from the screening process
- To provide advice on the safe prescribing and administration of medicines
- To participate in stock review, including controlled drugs and ensure medicines are kept safely and securel

– Locum Band 6 Pharmacists needed
- NHS Hospital, Bath
- £24 - £28 hourly rate (dependent on experience)
- GPhC Registration required
- 3 / 4 / 5 days per week!
- Ongoing contract, possibility to go permanent upon review
- September 2024 Start
