Carrington West are assisting a local authority client based in East Anglia in the search for a Senior and/or Principal Planning Policy Officer to support the councils Planning Department on an initial 6-month contract, with additional extension.

We are looking to fill multiple positions and are willing to look at candidates at varying degrees of experience, although must come with a number of years' experience working in a Local Authority Planning Policy team. The council are currently working on the evidence, growth areas and regulation 19 plan which they are hoping to reach next year.

It would be beneficial to hold a Post-graduate degree in planning, regeneration or a related discipline, and have the eligibility for membership of RTPI. The council are looking for candidates who will be able to hit the ground running and are offering flexible hybrid working arrangements with a weekly office presence.
