Are you a Support Technician familiar with heavy machinery or M&E looking to join a global company that offer extensive training and the chance to develop off the tool skills?

This company specialise in environmental engineering throughout the world, with the UK operations covering all major wastewater sites. They provide specialised machinery to streamline processes and have a wide spread team performing planned and reactive maintenance.

This role will see the successful candidate co-ordinate hire business activities, completing relevant admin, liaising with clients and performing hands on maintenance whenever necessary. The successful individual will need to demonstrate accurate written skills with a breadth of mechanical capabilities.

The Role:

  • Co-ordinate hire business activities including the receipt of order, preparation of risk assessments, method statements and transport plans
  • Conduct site visits to undertake mechanical installation or removal, service and repair of hire machines and equipment
  • Occasionally work in the workshop to undertake the service and repair of the hire fleet ensuring machinery and equipment are available for hire
  • Liaise with the Regional Field Managers to plan and optimise the use of resources between sites
  • Support the Hire Business Manager with site surveys when required
  • Manage client relationships when necessary

The Person:

  • Proven experience completing mechanical maintenance on heavy equipment
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
