We are recruiting for an NDT Technician whom is qualified to Level 2 in Xray or Level 1 or 2 in Dye Penetrant to join a world-renowned client on a full-time permanent basis.

Working as an NDT Inspector and reporting into the Quality Assurance Director your day to day duties will include;

  • Routine control checks to validate the inspection process and verify equipment calibrations.
  • Keeping computerised inspection records and archiving paper records
  • Evaluate the results and make accept / rejection decisions based on customer acceptance criteria
  • Interpret specification and assist in production of NDT techniques for level III approval
  • Assist in audits and ensure continued compliance with the companies NDT accreditations e.g., NADCAP and UKAS
  • Non-destructive examination of castings by Radiography using x-rays to reveal internal discontinuities
  • Operating computerised radiography system utilising Phosphor Imagining Plates
  • Load and unload film cassettes and process films, check radiographs against samples to ensure correct setup
  • Carry out control checks, processor monitoring and verify equipment calibrations
  • Restock darkroom cupboards and replenish processing solutions
  • View and interpret radiographs produced in both in-house and externally by subcontractor and evaluate results in respect to customer acceptance.
