External Sales Engineer - Electrical / Automation
Are you a self driven Sales Engineer seeking a new exciting challenge?
Do you have experience in the automation and controls industry?
My client are a leading distributor of electrical control gear, PLC's and Automation products and are looking for a External Sales Engineer in the Midlands.
The Role
- Develop new business and provide customers with solutions
- Manage own diary and schedule when booking customer appointments
- Generate and deliver competitive quotations to customer
- Build and maintain close relationships with customers
- Study and keep up to date with new market trends and technology
Requirements
- Experience in new business development and managing own diary
- You will likely to have worked as: BDM, Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager or similar selling electrical or automation products
- Knowledge of the automation and controls industry
- Work well using own initiative and in a team
- Perform well under pressure and hit KPI's
Package
- Salary to 45,000 plus commission
- 25 days annual leave plus blank holidays
