We are recruiting for a well-established precision engineering company in Rotherham, specialising in high-quality CNC machining and manufacturing. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Quality Control Inspector with an engineering background who is eager to develop their skills in quality control.

Monday - Friday - Days Only
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in machining, tooling, or general engineering who wants to learn and step into a quality-focused role. You will be responsible for ensuring that all components meet strict quality standards before they are delivered to customers. Training will be provided, but a solid engineering foundation is essential.
Key Responsibilities of a Quality Control Inspector:
- Inspecting machined components to ensure they meet customer specifications
- Using a range of measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
- Assisting in identifying and resolving quality issues in production
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in quality control
- Documenting and reporting quality checks accurately
Requirements of a Quality Control Inspector:
- Precision Engineering background – experience in machining, tooling, or CNC manufacturing is beneficial
- A keen interest in quality control and attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience using measuring tools such as verniers and micrometers
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
