Senior Design Manager
Remote with EMEA travel.


The Design Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple data center design projects across EMEA. This
includes managing third-party design consultants, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with
engineering standards to deliver top-tier, commercially viable data center designs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans and consultant Scope of Work (SOW).
  • Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with standards and codes.
  • Support internal RFPs, RFIs, and coordinate with the construction team.
  • Manage design schedules, consultant performance, and project costs.
  • Serve as the primary contact between third-party designers and internal stakeholders.
  • Report on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Facilitate meetings, track milestones, and ensure stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate on client-related design changes and contribute to reference design updates.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience managing design consultants in data centers or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of data center design, construction, and industry trends
  • Mechanical or Electrical (MEP) background is essential
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills in English; additional European language is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
