Senior Quantity Surveyor

Approach Personnel are partnering with our well-respected consultancy client to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for the delivery of each project across various sectors.

You can expect to collaborate with some high-profile names across a range of sectors, providing work-winning surveys and reports on major works projects.

Duties

  • Managing the commercial resources (people and finance) of assigned projects to maximise planned gross margin through the placement and control of contracts and subcontracts
  • Assessing, reviewing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
  • Completing and supporting the authorisation and submission of project variations
  • Maximising cash flow through the control, measurement (including quality) and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers

About You

  • Proven success working on Major Works projects 
  • Hold a degree in a field related to the role, such as Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • Proven experience in Quantity Surveying and Project Management for either a construction company, consultancy or private practice
  • Full UK Driving License, Own Transport, and the ability to travel to different areas of the UK for site visits
