We are recruiting for a Recycling Operative to join a well established manufacturing company located in Sheffield that has been in operation for almost half a century and offer a modern manufacturing working environment. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor as a Production Operative your daily duties will include;
- Loading recycled materials on to a conveyor belt.
- Working efficiently and effectively as part of the team.
- Identify contamination on the sorting table and dispose correctly.
- Make sure the recycled material is handled correctly.
- To achieve targets set by the Shift Supervisor.
- Keep the work area tidy and clean.
- Complete daily and weekly maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
The successful Recycling Operative will ideally have experience working as a Recycling Operative, Production Operative or Machine Operator within a recycling, waste, or engineering environment. Previous FLT Counterbalance experience would be advantageous but not essential. Benefits of working as a Recycling Operative include:
