Job Specification
Business development manager
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Regular travel with overnight stays to meet clients across the South of England
- The focus is large and mid-sized regional waste management companies to sell equipment such as conveyors, balers, and shredders
- Generating new business through active business development and some warm leads
- Monthly site visits to have meetings with the team
Essential Requirements:
- Strong ‘black book’ of waste management equipment buyers across the South of England in large and mid-sized regional waste management companies
- Proven track record in selling capital equipment
- Experience in the waste management sector
- Ability to secure new clients, with a focus on business development
Desirable Experience:
- Stability and longevity in previous roles
- Enthusiastic, confident, and motivated
- Ambition to grow and progress within the company
- At least 5 years of sales experience
Salary: £50,000- £60,000
Benefits: Commission, company car or car allowance, pension, 23 days annual leave including bank holidays
