OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

Our client is an industry leading supplier of products used to measure, monitor and control, liquids and gases within Industrial & Environmental applications. Their product includes flow meters as well as level, pressure and temperature meters. They also supply Valves, Sensors, Data Loggers and have also incorporated the latest Connectivity technology into their product portfolio, allowing them to be at the forefront of the industry. Typical markets include Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, Water, Petrochem, Power and Energy. They are keen to bring in an experienced sales person from within the flow and control industry to develop their existing client base as well developing new business.

CANDIDATE OVERVIEW

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales person who has previously dealt with Flow, Level, Pressure or Temperature instrumentation/metering or has been in the process control industry. You will have ideally been selling process instrumentation for a manufacturer or distributor or related products i.e. sensors within Flow, Pressure etc or Valves or Control products.

KEY JOB ACTIONS

  • The role will entail developing existing business, a number of incoming of incoming leads, leads generated by the internal sales and also self-generated business where possible.
  • Follow-up leads generated by marketing activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales and marketing plans.
  • Working in conjunction with the rest of the team to offer the correct solution clients and prospects.
  • Assist in the reporting and forecasting functions on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in the reporting, forecasting and managing of an allocated industry within the UK region
