Accounts Assistant
Our client are a specialist HVAC Company based in the Rotherham. They are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join the team.
Your main duties will include, but not limited to:
- Invoice input and processing, matching invoices to purchase orders
- Processing remittance advice
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Monitoring supplier pricing and terms
- Investigate and respond to supplier queries and requests for payment
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries
- Maintain the accounts inbox
- Review and maintain accounts within the purchase ledger
- Assist with Aged Creditors and Debtors review and reporting
- To support month end reporting
- To produce VAT returns
- Completing weekly bank reconciliations
- To undertake filing, photocopying, collation of information and general clerical work on behalf of the Finance department
Other duties include, but are not limited to
- Fleet management
- Refrigerant management
- Monitoring and reporting on engineer efficiencies
It is key that you have the following:
- AAT 3 qualification.
- Experience of using Sage50 accounts
- Good organisational skills
- Strong, confident with good communication skills
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Proactive attitude
- Excellent IT skills particularly excel spreadsheets

Monday Friday 8.30 am 5.00 pm (office based)

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
