Accounts Assistant

Our client are a specialist HVAC Company based in the Rotherham. They are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join the team.

Your main duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Invoice input and processing, matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Processing remittance advice
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Monitoring supplier pricing and terms
  • Investigate and respond to supplier queries and requests for payment
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries
  • Maintain the accounts inbox
  • Review and maintain accounts within the purchase ledger
  • Assist with Aged Creditors and Debtors review and reporting
  • To support month end reporting
  • To produce VAT returns
  • Completing weekly bank reconciliations
  • To undertake filing, photocopying, collation of information and general clerical work on behalf of the Finance department

Other duties include, but are not limited to

  • Fleet management
  • Refrigerant management
  • Monitoring and reporting on engineer efficiencies

It is key that you have the following:

  • AAT 3 qualification.
  • Experience of using Sage50 accounts
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong, confident with good communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Proactive attitude
  • Excellent IT skills particularly excel spreadsheets

Monday Friday 8.30 am 5.00 pm (office based)
