Job Title: Sawing Operative
Location: Rotherham
Salary: 11.50ph with shift allowance (open to salary expectations)
Shifts: Mornings and Afters
Metalis is working in partnership with an engineering company involved in the design and manufacture of bespoke components.
We are actively recruiting for a Sawing Operative to join an expanding team in Rotherham.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with measuring tools to tight tolerances (vernier calipers and micrometers)
- Operating large belt fed sanding machines.
- Using table saws
- Adhering to health and safety
- Excellent Health and Safety philosophy
Person Specification:
- Experience with hand routing operations (table routing)
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with wood
Shifts and Salary:
Rotating shifts
- Mornings 6am - 2pm -
- Afters 2pm - 12am or 2pm to 11pm
- Overtime Available at Enhanced Rates
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent role
