Role: Functional Skills - Maths & English Tutor
Location: South Yorkshire
Type: Full Time - Permanent
Salary: 25,000 - 30,000
Eden Brown are recruiting for a Functional Skills - Maths & English Tutor for a Training Provider providing training to Adult students who are already employed or preparing to enter into their chosen profession.
This is a full time permanent position to start asap delivering Functional Skills Maths & English up to Level 2.
The role is home based with travel required when required in South and West Yorkshire
Duties / Responsibilities:
* Deliver functional skills to meet individual needs
* Develop and adapt resources to suit individual learner requirements
* Set assignments to progress the individual, monitoring, and reviewing these targets against their agreed learning plan
* Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, developing the curriculum offer, working with small groups and working on a one to one basis
* Use interactive resources and innovation to engage, stimulate, motivate and challenge individuals to meet their agreed English & Mathematics targets
* Monitor attendance of learners on the provision liaising with other personnel where applicable
* Maintain documentation systems relevant to the progress of the individual ensuring reviews and learning plan accurately reflect learner targets, reviews and progression
Candidates must:
- Hold a Teaching Qualification
- Experience in Apprentice Standards Delivery
- Experience delivering Functional Skills
Candidates must have a current DBS, if you do not have a DBS Eden Brown can get one on your behalf.
