PE (Physical Education) Teacher

Salary: £140 - £250 per day

GSL Education Rotherham are looking for enthusiastic and experienced PE (Physical Education) Teacher to join our vibrant school community to work with one of our client schools in Rotherham.
Job Summary: As a PE (Physical Education) Teacher, you will plan and deliver physical education lessons, promote fitness, and encourage healthy lifestyles. You will assess students’ abilities, provide feedback, and organize sports activities, ensuring safety and inclusivity.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality physical education lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular sports activities, events, and competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other subjects and promote a holistic approach to education.
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in physical education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in Physical Education or relevant subject area.
- Experience as a PE Teacher is essential but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to promoting physical health and well-being in education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
