Maths, Science and English Tutors 1:3 & 1:4 tutoring/intervention sessions in school

GSL Education's South Yorkshire Branch is looking for one Maths Tutor, one English Tutor, and one Science Tutor to provide support to students up to 1:4 basis. The role offers approximately 6 hours of work per week, typically split between one morning and one afternoon on separate days. The primary school in Rotherham requires tutors to teach primary students. This role is suitable for graduates seeking tutoring or teaching experience, as well as for qualified teachers.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide support to students up to 1:4 basis on Maths, English & Science.
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the British education curriculum.
  • Contribute to the overall development and well-being of students.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in a maths, English or science based subject, alternatively be a qualified teacher. If you don’t have a degree or teaching qualification then you will have to be currently studying towards a degree at university.
  • Experience with working in primary school children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Currently residing in the UK.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service.
  • Passion for education and student support.
