Role involves managing a caseload of participants, progressing them into sustainable work.
Ideal candidate would have experience of welfare-to-work delivery and proven history of achieving performance KPIs
 
Main purpose of the job role: 
  • To act as the face of Walsall Council in providing an efficient, professional and client focussed employment and skills service to the people of Walsall.
  • To be responsible for achieving contractual profiles of positive outcomes and other KPIs from a caseload of unemployed adults or young people who are in not in education.
  • To provide quality careers information, advice and guidance in various settings to inactive young people and unemployed adults to improve their personal development, help inform career choices, access suitable training and prepare for the world of work.
  • To track and monitor progress of young people who are not in education or employment.
  • To build excellent working relationships with internal services, statutory organisations, training providers, partner organisations, local employers and their supply chain.
