£83.33-£89.00 per day (dependent on experience)
Usual school hours (08:30-15:30)
Are you an experienced Youth Support Worker, looking to transfer your experience to a school setting? Or have your recently completed a degree and are looking to get into an education setting? Vision for Education are actively seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to work within KS1 to 4 SEND schools across Rotherham.
The role
This excellent opportunity would be ideal for an experienced teaching assistant or equally someone with a strong background within a similar setting, who is looking to carry out long term or day to day supply in the Rotherham area. Your role will see you providing support to the class teacher and other LSA’s within small classes across KS1 and 4. This role can be extremely challenging, but it is also highly rewarding engaging with vulnerable young people, families and other agencies to help them develop and achieve.

Requirements
To be considered for the position of a Youth Support Worker, you will:
- Hold Level 2 or 3 Classroom support qualification or referenceable experience within a relative setting (can be voluntary)
- Have experience supporting children and or young adults with EBD, ASC, SEMH and other related learning needs
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of specialist teachers
- Have a passion for supporting students and teachers, with the ability to work in small groups and on a 121 basis
- Own vehicle and willing to travel across Rotherham is highly desirable but not essential
