Job Title: Work Placement Officer

GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Work Placement Officer to our client based in Rotherham. The Work Placement Officer will help develop the student journey by supporting them with work experience opportunities. They will ensure that students have access to good quality placement experiences that complement their learning.
Main Duties of the Work Placement Officer:
- Source and support on work experience, work placements, and industry placements for all students
- Ensure that Health and Safety assessments are completed and that all compliance is in place
- Review all placement providers, ensuring they are committed and able to provide the relevant supervision
- Keep a central CRM up to date with records of all available placements
- Provide a service to learners so they can access information and support relating to work experience opportunities
Role Requirements:
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Experience working with a range of employers/clients
- Knowledge of the Health and Safety at work Act 1974
- A commitment to safeguarding young people
- Ability to analyse data and produce performance reports
