Day-to-Day of the Teacher Assistant Role:- Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily activities that support individual learning plans tailored to students with SEN.
- Work closely with teachers to implement effective teaching strategies that foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Engage with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers.
- Monitor and support the social and emotional well-being of students, encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
- Assist in the organisation and management of classroom resources and records.
- Experience as a Teacher Assistant or in a similar role involving work with SEN students.
- A proactive approach and a strong desire to assist children with special educational needs in exceeding their potential.
- Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively within a dynamic team.
- Confidence and enthusiasm to go above and beyond in supporting the educational journey of students with special needs.
