Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Rotherham (S66)
Salary: £95 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you looking for a rewarding role in education? Do you have the confidence to lead a classroom and support students in their learning? GSL Education seeks a motivated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our bank of educators working across schools in Rotherham, providing essential classroom support when teachers are absent.
Key Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor :
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
- Maintain a positive learning environment, ensuring students stay on task.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
- Support students with their learning and answer any queries related to the lesson content.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders to ensure smooth lesson delivery.
Requirements of Cover Supervisor:
- Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
- Confidence in managing a classroom and engaging students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and student development.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- A passion for education and a desire to support student learning.
