This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the production department.
The ideal candidate will provide efficient administrative support, manage resource and ensure accurate data is available to help the team keep manufacturing projects on track.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Coordinator:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the production team
- Gather and share production performance data to spot areas for improvement
- Create accurate weekly and monthly reports
- Maintain accurate absence management and operations trackers
- Update daily performance graphs for operational KPIs
- Support the operations team and participate in cross functional projects
- Ensure health and safety compliance
- Coordinate with shift managers and agencies for temporary labour needs
Production Coordinator Qualities:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a background in production data and reporting
- Proficiency in Windows, especially Excel, and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of production processes and inventory management is advantageous
