The Role

  • Visiting debtor’s properties to arrange payment of outstanding debts
  • Setting up and agreeing repayment arrangements
  • Assisting debtors in completing questionnaires
  • Taking control of goods – where required
  • Removing goods - where necessary
  • Making enquiries with neighbours if debtors have moved or left a property
  • Compiling short reports about your visit, along with any necessary paperwork
  • Assessing debtor vulnerability and signposting them to support services – if required
  • Liaising with office-based colleagues regarding active cases
  • Working by yourself, often in different geographical areas each day
  • Handling cash payments – where required

You will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check and you mustn't have any CCJ's or IVA's against your name.  This role comes with a company vehicle so you will need to have held your driving licence for at least 2 years and be able to drive a manual and automatic vehicle.
