Regional Sales Manager - Southern Region

Excellent opportunity to join a Tier 1 Plant division leading the Rental division into the Construction and Infrastructure sector

Location: Flexible (Home-based role with travelling as required to client meetings)

Salary: 70,000 basic + Car + Commission + Package

Role:

The Resolute Group have been retained to secure a Regional Sales Manager for the Southern region, focused on supplying plant equipment to the construction & infrastructure sector in the UK.

This is a hands-on role, reporting to the Head of Sales, taking on the sales role with major projects, clients, contractors and the supply chain. Day-to-day duties will vary but could include:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional targets and expand market share.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing ongoing coaching and support.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the construction industry.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential new customers.
  • Sales Reporting: Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives with overall company objectives.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our hire equipment offerings, ensuring the team is well-informed to meet customer needs.

The key for this role is someone who is self-motivated and understands the construction & Infrastructure sectors. Looking to take ownership of your division and growing it in line with the KPI's and company expectations

Qualifications & Expereience

  • This role is a self-made position so no qualifications are required.
  • Experience in Sales is key, working in the rental sector with in the construction & Infrastructure sectors, understanding the processes they go thought to buy / rent plant equipment.
