The Candidate:
We are seeking energetic, hardworking, and enthusiastic individuals eager to join our team! You’ll bring your skills and experience to Littlehampton Train Depot, where you’ll take on various cleaning tasks to ensure the trains are pristine and ready for service. Ideally, you have experience in the transportation sector, housekeeping, or a similar cleaning environment.

The Role:
Ready for a rewarding challenge? Here’s what you’ll be doing! On the night shift, you will be responsible for making sure the train interiors are clean and presentable for the public. Your tasks will include hoovering, mopping, sanitising, and conducting deep and full cleans. Please note, this role is physically demanding and requires you to be on your feet for most of the shift.

Requirements:
Excited about this opportunity? Here’s what you need to qualify! We’re looking for candidates with experience in transportation, industrial, or house cleaning. You must be able to work night shifts from 21:30 to 04:30 on a rotating schedule that includes weeknights and weekends.

Rate of Pay:

  • Standard hours (35 hours per week) - £14.52 p/h
  • Overtime (hour 36+) - £17.43 p/h
  • Rest Day Working - £18.88 p/h
  • Sunday Shifts - £21.06 p/h
  • After 12 weeks, you’re eligible for a pay increase as part of Agency Worker Rights.
  • Training and PPE provided.
  • Opportunity for permanent placement after a 6-month initial contract.

What Happens Next?
The interview process includes submitting a short, pre-recorded video for our client to review. If selected, you’ll need to provide proof of your eligibility to work in the UK and be able to commute to Croydon or London for a drug and alcohol test.
