Our client is currently seeking a Senior Traffic Signals Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary transport technology team.

This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to provide technical leadership on projects spanning both the public and private sectors.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical leadership on traffic signals projects
  • Ensuring the highest levels of quality in project deliverables
  • Working on projects in both the public and private sectors
  • Designing and validating MOVA and SCOOT systems
  • Travelling to various site locations as project demands dictate
  • Utilising CAD and traffic signals design software such as LinSig
  • Applying CDM 2015, health & safety management, and environmental standards
  • Project management and adhering to Conditions of Contracts


Job Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
  • Significant experience in the traffic signals industry
  • Strong knowledge of relevant design standards, best practice guidance, and legislation
  • Experience with MOVA and SCOOT design, validation experience desirable
  • UTC database experience an advantage
  • Competent in the use of CAD and LinSig
  • Knowledge of health & safety management, quality, and environmental standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
