Mobile Repair Technician

V-Recruit are pleased to be working on behalf of a successful, family-run business to recruit a Mobile Repair Technician for a permanent vacancy, based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

Duties to include

• Diagnosing and repairing onsite technical issues using appropriate tools and equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing basic plumbing issues
• Repairing diesel heaters and electrical systems
• Advising customers on most appropriate actions regarding conditions and necessary repairs
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment

Job specifics

Salaried, £30,000 - £36,00k per annum depending on experience

This is a full time, permanent role

Working hours are 7am-4pm, Monday to Friday, some 5am starts may be required

Monthly pay 

Candidate Requirements

• Full Driving Licence required, with no more than 3 points
• Willing and comfortable driving long distances
• Ability to work alone a have initiative
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques (qualifications desirable)
• Recent relevant experience, with references
• A good understanding of safety requirements on site
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
